Post-Season 3.

She finds him in what would have been her nursery. Emma Swan will deny that she's spent the last hour searching for him, but if he asked she would be powerless to not tell him the truth.

Emma feels guilty. She was so harsh in the beginning, when he showed up at her front door and kissed her out of the blue. But she had been struggling to tell herself that the dreams she'd had for the next week before she saw him again weren't memories from 'another life' but were simply just a by-product of her active imagination.

"Didn't think you would like the colour pink very much," he says suddenly, alerting her to his knowledge of her presence.
"Red is more my colour."

She hears a chuckle and her eyes follow him as he wonders around the room and plays with bits and pieces as he goes.

"Pink is a shade of red, love."
"Still not the same colour Killian."

The pirate stops, his hand stilling as he reaches to lift a stuffed-toy from a shelf. It's quiet and she can hear his breathing across the room.

"It's been a while since I've heard that name," he murmurs, turning around to face her.
"Well it's your name, so I hope you'd have heard it every once in a while."
"Yes, love," Hook nods slightly before cocking his head to the side and smiling at her, "But it would never sound better coming from anyone else but you."
"Charming," Emma smirks.
He bows exaggeratedly, "Only for you m'lady."

A giggle escapes her lips before she has the chance to stop it, and she's laughing within seconds. She has a hand over her mouth to try and stifle the noise, but for every moment Killian Jones moves slowly towards her with that smile on his face, Emma only makes it worse.

When he stops, barely inches in front of her, she starts taking deep breaths to try and control it so that she can calm down.

"We haven't gotten to talk," the pirate notes when she finally calms down, raising his hand and curling a strand of hair around his fingers, "Just us, since New York."
"It has been a bit hectic, with me having to save the Enchanted Forest from a super powerful witch and regain all of my memories," she shrugs with a smile.
"Ah Swan, I must thank you for that."
"Well, perhaps gratitude is in order," Emma suggests.
"The thank you not good enough for you Miss Swan?"
"Is that all everyone's lives are worth to you Captain?"

Killian is shaking his head slightly, and she knows it's not just because of her very obvious play on his own words.

"I don't believe you would be able to handle it," he replies simply, pretending to be oblivious to her obvious attempt at seducing him.
"Maybe you're the one who wouldn't be able to handle it."

It's quiet when he finally kisses her, and Emma Swan is willing to pray to the highest heaven that if she ever loses her memories again she doesn't lose this one. It had been one year too long in the making and she wasn't willing to give it up for anything.

Successfully writes my first OUAT/CaptainSwan fanfic with a sort of clichéd ending? Yep.

Oh. And there's a lot of dialogue too. I tried to stray away from it, but I couldn't. So this is how it ended up. Sorry if it's a bit out-of-character!

March 9th is too far away for us to wait for three new episodes, so lets just live with our fanfiction for a bit.

Thank you!

All mistakes are mine.
