Paper Flowers
Lying on her bed, silent echoed across the room, her eye wide, looking at something out in the windows, something distance, far away from her sight, her hand unconsciously shaping a paper.
Fast, she fold it into a flower, a beautiful little flower, rested in her hand, and then put in the box beside her, which also made of paper, contains lots and lots of flowers, smile at her creations beside her, then fade into sorrow, again.
They said she could only live for more than few days, if lucky, a month, her heart can not suffer any longer, when they told her this, the only thing she wished is to die, to be released from this cruel, and merciless world, to cry all her tear out, to scream out in pain, to be done with her miserable life.
And she did scream out in pain, to cry all her tears out, but the only she didn't do, is to free herself from here, out of this grey and depressing hospital room, and into the heaven outside, to let the sun shine on her face, to spread wings and fly far away from this pain, to be carefree, to live a life.
But is only her imagination, as she faced the harsh truth in front of her, so she play along with fate, she started to fold flowers from papers, to let her mind free, and not to think about anything, to just wait, until death took her away, all the flowers she made, she put her hope, her dream of being free, every single one of it, but is only paper, and is not magical wishing flower.
She have a life before she ended up here, in this bed, she has a family, a pet, an apartment, and lots of friends, and even a boy she loved, and he did too.
Kristoff checked in with her every day, to just be there, just sit there, looking at her folding her the paper, to her, is just a waiting game, to him, is was art, he loves those paper flowers, he loves them all, and sometime he asked Anna to teach him how to do it himself, Anna was happy to help, at least there's someone with her, not letting her alone.
Today, it was raining, no sun, no birds, no light, just her hair flowing in the wind, still folding the paper, eye starring at the windows, still desperately looking for something, that something mean nothing, only see the rain pouring down heavily.
Kristoff was rather quiet today, he said nothing, as he still concentrated to Anna's hands, looking at her, hoping is still not too late, to look on that beautiful face, to see her every day, to care for her, to live for her, his heart ached every time he see her like this, sadness.
Anna's heart, suddenly hurt, making her gasped for air, is was too painful, she knew this day would come, death has finally come to seal her fate, to take her away from here, as her heart begin to destroy her, she felt a warm hands gripping on her, holding her hands tightly, his eye looking down at her, tears at the edge of his eye, his hand desperately trying to grab her, not her body, but her soul, to make her come back to him, not letting her go, no, not now, not ever.
But, what's fate design, cannot be changed.
The finished flower, the last of it, fall onto the ground, and laid there, quietly.
