It was one in the morning. With the dim light of the moon, you can see a blonde girl sleeping through the window.

'Rustle'

Awaked by the sound, the blonde looked around for the source of it confusingly. And then she saw her. Squatting on the window frame was the person she eager to meet the most since the fall of Beacon.

The black hair girl seemed to be caught by surprise at the fact that the blonde was up.

Still half-asleep, the blonde asked. "Blake?"

"Y-Yang…I- " Blake replied as anxiety was clearly shown in her voice.

"This is a dream…right…?" Yang mumbled.

You can imagine how surprised Blake was hearing this. "What- "

With a small smile on her emaciated face, Yang said. "Blake would never come back to me…So this must be a dream?" Her voice was filled with exhaustion. "The doctor said the pain meds could cause hallucinations…"

As she was getting down from the window to the bed, Blake answered with a soft voice. "Yes…just a dream…"

"So why are you here?"

"I came to check on you."

"That's very kind of you…" Yang let out a smile. "Hey…since this is a dream, can you do something for me?"

Blake answered uncertainly. "…yeah?"

Holding her left hand out, Yang said. "I…haven't had a good rest in weeks…"

"Of course…" Her bangs hid away her eyes as well as the expression in them.

Yang lay down and made some space on her right so that Blake could get in the bed with her. And then they cuddled with each other.

"I missed you…" Yang said with a slightly broken voice as she squeezed the girl.

"I missed you too." As she responded, Blake held the blonde tighter. Both of them teared up and were on the verge of crying. The sadness and the joy of being with each other engulfed them.

"If only…" Yang sobbed. "If only…you were…the real Blake…"

"Yeah…if only…" Her voice cracked as she replied.

The two then slowly got to their sleep.

It was four in the morning then. Yang was still peacefully asleep but Blake had already been wide awake. She quietly slipped out of the bed, carefully not to wake up the blonde. Once again back on the window frame, she glanced back a bit at Yang, tried to memorize the face of her beloved. Then she turned back to look at the outside. She whispered to the wind as tears started to roll down her cheeks and dropped on the window frame.

"I'm sorry…Yang…"

And then she jumped off, disappeared into the dark night. It was as if the darkness swallowed her whole.

It was finally morning. The early sunlight shined through the window. The blonde slowly waked up only to find the bed empty with just herself on it. Like how it always had been. She was wide awake then. The emaciation was still displaying on her face.

She mumbled to herself. "It was just a dream…"

She let out a sigh as she rested her left arm on her forehead, hid away her eyes. Again, she mumbled but with a cracked voice.

"It was all…just a dream…"

End.
