Reality was reset. Drakkon was gone from their lives forever, his evil deeds erased from existence, leaving no trace, not even their memories. The Emissaries had recovered the Heart of the Morphin Master, and reconstructed the multiverse, but Drakkon's evil had left it's mark on all of reality.

Drakkon had cleaved an entire universe into countless pocket dimensions and then he'd sabotaged the Morphin Grid, using it's powers to erase the entire multiverse and replace it with his twisted vision of a perfect world.

Damage like that can't be totally repaired, not without concequences. And an evil like Drakkon can never be forgotten. The evil and destruction he'd unleashed surpassed that of all others. There must always be balance in the multiverse. To compensate for rewriting Drakkon's evil, countless other universes were formed from the void - worlds which spawned other versions of Lord Drakkon. While some remained in their own universes, others followed in the footsteps of the original wayward evil version of Tommy Oliver and invaded other timelines, colliding with other ranger teams.

Earth D-12 (also known as the Devil's Playground) spawned a version of Drakkon, who attacked the Dino Thunder rangers of Earth-327, changing the destiny of that universe forever.

On another world (Earth D-9), Zack Taylor became Rita's evil green ranger and later, Lord Drakkon. He clashed with the rangers of Earth-0.

In other realities, Lord Drakkon was an evil clone of Tommy Oliver, existing in the same world as his better half.

However, this story begins in a world which is very different from it's adjacent realities in the multiverse, exploring the origins of a Drakkon, whose very existence is an uncanny paradox.
