Summary: Syeira Mellark is wondering about Her Aunt Effie's Hair.
Syeira Mellark was sitting on her Bed,Playing with a Toy she got from the Capitol when she was 1. She's now 3 and Smart for her Age.
"Syeira!"Katniss called for her Daughter.
Syeira walked through the Living Room,to The Kitchen. "Yes Mommy?"She asked.
"Aunt Effie will be over in a Few,She's gonna be staying her with you for 2 weeks,Cause Mommy and Daddy have to go see Uncle Gale."Katniss told her,
Syeira loves Her Aunt Effie. Her and Effie would dress up a lot,Effie would paint her Nail.
"Yay!"Syeira squealed,Katniss laughed and Kissed Syeira cheek.
"Mommy,Stop!"Syeira said,in between laughs.
"Ok. Go say bye to Daddy. Aunt Effie is here."Katniss told her Daughter. Syeira squealed some more,and Started running to Her Parents Bedroom. Katniss watch Syeira's Brown Braids bounce on her Neck,and Started to laugh.
Katniss and Peeta were getting ready to Leave.
"Okay Effie,On Weekends she can Stay up till she falls asleep,and On weekdays She has to be in bed by 9."Katniss said,"Katniss dear,I've watched her since she was born,I know what I'm doing."Effie told her,"Okay. Love you Syeira."Katniss and Peeta said,"Love you Too."She responded.
It was 10:30 pm. Syeira was still awake,WIDE AWAKE. Effie and Her just got done with Make-Up. Syeira had Purple Lips,Green Eyeshadow,and Pale Skin. Effie had,well What Effie would wear.
Syeira kept looking at her Aunt. She was wondering. 'Why does she wear Colorful hair,Diffrent skin colors,and weird make-up'
"Aunt Effie."Syeira peeped,Breaking the Silence.
"Yes Sy?"Effie asked.
Syeira climbed into Effie's lap. "Why is your Hair diffrent,Everytime you come?"
"It's what people in the Capitol wear."Effie told her.
Syeira sighed.
"What's wrong dear?"Effie asked.
"What's your real hair color?"Syeira asked.
"I don't really remember."Effie said.
"Then lets see."Syeira said,Jumping off the Couch going into the Bathroom. Then told Effie to come.
Syeira climbed on top of a Stool,and Looked into the Mirror.
"Aunt Effie,This is a real hair Color."Syeira said,pointing at her Curly Brown Hair. Which was tooken out of the Braids.
"I just don't wanna see my real color."Effie told her.
"We gonna though,It will make me happy."Syeira said.
Effie was gonna say no,intill Syeira looked at her with her Puppy-Dog-Eyes.
"Fine."Effie confesed.
Syeira cheered. as Effie took off her Wig. Seeing her the First Time
"AUNT EFFIE,YOU HAVE BLONDE HAIR!"Syeira squealed.
"Wow,I do don't I."Effie said,looking into the Mirror.
"Now you like a normal person."Syeira told Effie
'Well that was rude'
The Two weeks flew by. Katniss and Peeta are back now.
"We're back."Effie and Syeira heard Peeta Say.
"DADDY,MOMMY. I SAW EFFIE REAL HAIR COLOR!"Syeira yelled.
Katniss and Peeta looked around. "Where is she?"Katniss asked.
"Right Here."They heard Effie say.
She had no wig on. Just Blonde hair on her Head.
"Effie,You have blonde hair."Peeta said in shock. "AWESOME,ANOTHER BLONDE!"He exclaimed. Effie laughed.
"You look good with blonde."Katniss said.
"Yay,Now we all no what's under her Wig. Except 1 little person,called my Brother who will know when he older."Syeira said,pointing at Katniss's 8 month pregnant Stomach.
