Zach and Cammie
You could be happy and I won't know
Zach had gone on another mission, again leaving Cammie all alone.
Zach had asked Cammie if she was happy, if she really was okay being alone all the time.
Cammie always said yes, even though deep down she knew she was lying.
But you weren't happy the day I watched you go
After returning from another long mission, Zach saw Cammie crying in the living room.
He also noticed a pile of boxes next to her shaking legs.
"Cammie, what is this?" Zach asked his Gallagher girl
Cammie picked up a box and wiped a tear.
"I'm not happy… I'm sorry Zach, but this is for the best" Cammie sobbed
And all the things that I wished I had not said
The night Cammie left, Zach drowned his sorrows in alcohol.
10 beers later, Zach was drunk.
He pulled out his phone and dialled Cammie's mobile.
Voicemail
Zach started cursing all his hateful thoughts into the phone, before he realised what he had done, the voicemail was sent

Cammie came over the next day, asking for an explanation for the crude voicemail.
Zach had a hangover and was really out of it, so he asked Cammie to leave.
Cammie was exasperated and they both began yelling at each other.

Zach lay in bed that night thinking of Cammie.
He thought about the first time he met her; the Covert Operations mission.
He thought about their beautiful wedding, and how gorgeous Cammie looked as she walked down the carpet of the church
But not our last days of silence, screaming, blur
But then he thought of their fight.
Most of what I remember makes me sure
I should have stopped you from walking out the door
Zach should have caught her wrist and stopped her from walking out.
But how could he, he was a Goode and Goode's don't show emotions

You made me happier than I'd been by far
A few months had passed; Zach saw that Cammie had a new boyfriend.
He wasn't sure if she was happy or not, but it didn't matter since he couldn't be the one making those decisions for her now
Somehow everything I own smells of you
And for the tiniest moment it's all not true
Zach pulled out his jacket from the closet and smelt it.
Cammie
All his clothes had her perfect scent on it.
Zach sighed and pretended that this was just a nightmare and he and Cammie were still together

Zach was going to take Cammie for their anniversary, but Cammie said she wanted to go by herself.
So now Zach was out of her way, she went.

She was travelling the world with her boyfriend.
He was alone always, and was single still.
Zach had lost his chance, he should have tried harder to make her
