The vast valley in-between the mountains that presented the only clear path out of the Midgar area on foot was rather barren, apart from the groups of random monsters and bandits, there wasn't anything interesting, though Barret seemed to grow annoyed with each passing day, finally He burst out with a mighty yell as they traveled. "GOD DAMMIT!" That brought a stare from the rest of the group, apart from Red whom only cocked a single brow. Aeris calmly, though a little shook asked what was wrong. The big man replied with a terse voice. "Someone has been following us!" They all looked back towards Midgar, though it was out of sight. There was a single black blot on the horizon, a person. Cloud drew Buster Blade watching as the figure rapidly came closer, followed by a low and dull rumble and the every-so-often pop, apparently He was using a motorcycle. Barret took a few pop shots which actually made a resounding ping of metal against speeding metal and then a small orange blossom of an explosive event.

Aeris gasped before a man came, flung and hit the ground rolling, instantly the man stood up right, holding a metal bat in a swaying before him, with a rather silly grin plastered on his face before unleashing a rain of blunt blows on Barret who had to stagger back. Cloud came in with a heavy slash and the man let out a grunt sucking in his belly to dodge it, followed by cracking Cloud on the head, He kept parrying shots and swings from Barret and Cloud until promptly was tackled by Red, who held the man's neck with his maw. "Oi! Lemmie go!" He squirmed to no avail. Aeris tented to the wounds of Cloud and Barret while Tifa crouched next to the pinned man. "Who are you?" She asked in a demanding voice. Despite the man cracked a silly grin and replied with. "Say please." Tifa rolled her eyes and sarcastically said. "Please." Happy with it, the man began to speak. "Meh name is Nick, Ex-Reactor Mechanic." His grey eyes flashed a light grayish green, showing the amount of mako "poisoning". "And methinks that's all you need to know." He grunted when Aeris came closer. "What?" He asked her to which the flower girl said. "Since you followed us, you might as well tell why."

Nick grunted and shut his eyes, until Red growled lightly. "Fine! I was planning to get sum revenge on good ol' Shinra, even though the follow with a long sword did quite the good job doing that." They all looked to each other, Red after letting go and getting off of him. "Well, you might as well come with us, Cloud and Barret won't bother you, right guys?" Tifa gave a glare at the two whom muttered the replies. Nick clapped his hands together and grinned again. "All righty then, let's keep going."
