It was a hot, humid, and otherwise peaceful summer day on Wisteria Lane when a new woman came into town. This woman strode down the street like she owned the place; like she could get everything she set her mind to, or anyone. The first resident to step out of her pristine home to acquaint herself with the new addition was Bree. At first Bree wasn't sure what to think of her new neighbor, since she looked like she was about 12. It must have been the schoolgirl-esque skirt and pastel sweater. It was a look that would fit in perfectly on Wisteria lane, with the 5 year olds. After talking to the woman, who turned out to be Audrey Horne, she grew an attachment to the younger woman and wanted to introduce her to the man in her life, Orson Hodge. Later that night, Bree invited Audrey over for dinner with her and Orson. She seemed sort of confused with how Audrey reacted to Orson. It was like she had seen a ghost, but the ghost of a loved one; the ghost of someone she missed dearly and did not think she would ever lay her eyes on again. She seemed halfway between scared and elated. After getting to know each other, Bree felt more and more like Audrey was taking Orson away from her, one flirty glance at a time. In the beginning, she didn't realize just how well they would hit it off, which leads to where we are today. Bree stands alone while her past lover spends all his time with a woman years his junior. Well, I guess that's just another day in Wisteria Lane. Let's just hope it doesn't make Bree do what I did years ago and end such a beautiful, yet sometimes dark life on this beautiful, yet sometimes dark street.
