"Any diet that lets me eat chocolate and still lose weight has got to be too good to be real."

The woman on the TV was probably a paid actress, Matt thought as he pressed the channel button down. It was the third time in that hour he had seen that commercial. He was starting to get a sneaking feeling that someone upstairs was trying to tell him something.

Opening the refrigerator, he looked at the plastic bag that had carrots in it. He had asked Janice to go and get them for him, but now he didn't really feel like eating rabbit food. Unable to find anything other than left over take-out, he shut the door and returned to his chair. The commercial was on again.

"Okay, okay I get it. I could stand to lose a few pounds."

Turning the TV off, he turned his attention to the phone beside him.

Three weeks later he looked up from his paper, to find Janice looking at him. "What? Toast on my face?"

"No, you just look…different."

A slow smile crept onto his lips, "Yeah, I feel different too."

Janice frowned, "Can't place it though."

Matt didn't say anything but kissed her cheek and left for work.

"Parkman, I swear I'm gonna turn around one day and you won't be there."

"What?" He said, tearing his eyes away from the door where they were watching for the cheerleader's dad.

"You're wasting away! Look at you!" Her grin and voice were sincere and she motioned to him, "What's your secret?"

He shrugged, beyond pleased that he was actually getting results, "Oh, just carrots and chocolate."

Author's Notes: I've noticed that Matt looks a bit trim in the past couple episodes. And read somewhere that Greg was on Weight Watchers, saying that Matt would lose weight as he became more comfortable with his powers and all that. Anyway, this is in 'response' to that. Thanks for reading! Please review.
