Constellations
"Percy, are you going to help me unpack or not?"
"Uh…"
"Then get out of my room."
Percy had decided that coming out with Annabeth to visit her father was the worst idea he'd had in a long time, and that was saying something.
"I'm going to go for a walk." Anything to get out of the house.
Annabeth went back to unpacking.
Percy left the house after a quick goodbye to Mr. Chase.
He hadn't even been watching where he was going, but suddenly he looked up.
Mount Tam.
So many bad memories sat on that mountain.
He saw a path, not the one from the Hesperides' garden, but another one that would lead up the mountain. He followed it.
He didn't go all the way up, even after being destroyed Atlas would still be there and he felt no reason to want to meet him.
He sat down and breathed in the air. It was getting dark, but Percy just looked up at the stars. All the constellations that Annabeth had taught him.
And one that she had never had to.
The Huntress gleamed brightly in the sky.
"Dam," Percy mumbled under his breath. "It's been a long time since you died."
The stars did not respond.
Percy had bags to unpack, so he climbed down Mount Tam.
He couldn't help but hear her words echoed in his ears.
"I can see the stars again, my lady."
