Chapter 1: A new school
Hello, my name is Ethan, but I like to be called Vaughn. I am a dirty blond, 5 ft. Male with glasses. My family and I just moved to a new neighborhood and I was ready to go to my new school. I'm what most people call a 10 year genius. Though I thought of myself as a charmer. The only problem is that I'm really shy and only make connections with people who I feel is perfect for me.
My eyes fluttered open as my alarm clock started to beep. I tiredly grabbed for the clock and turned it off. As if my heart skipped about 7 beeps, I sat up almost instantly in my bed. 'THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL IS TODAY!' my mind almost screamed. I leapt out of bed and instantly went to my closet thinking hard on what to wear.
After putting on my clothes, I sprinted down my stairs going three at a time. I rushed past my little sister into my kitchen. I grabbed the last chocolate chip pancake and swung my backpack over my shoulder. I rushed out the door and waved at my neighbor. I looked at my cracked watch to see that I was almost late to the bus.
I muttered a curse under my breath and my light jog turned into a sprint. I saw the school bus start to leave my station and I shouted at the top of my lungs "WAIT!" Good thing the bus driver must have the best sense of hearing ever because the bus actually stopped for me. I climed on board a said a quick thanks to the bus driver, who gave a smile in return. I sat down in an empty seat close to the front and but my earbuds in.
