Sakura and Sasuke had just started going out. Spring love was in the air. For their 20th date it seemed to be, they went on a picnic. "Oh, I'm having a wonderful time Sasuke!" Sakura exclaimed while eating a chocolate covered strawberry. "I'm glad." Sasuke replied with a nice smile on his face. "You know," Sasuke began, "we haven't even shared our first kiss yet." He told Sakura with some shyness in his voice. "I know." She replied with a sigh, "But I really want this to be a good relationship. And all the magazines say to have a good relationship; you need to have the first kiss when you're ready. Not just because you want to."

"You and those dating magazines." Sasuke replied with a grin. "I can't help it, I'm very nervous." She told him with an even bigger grin than his. "I…" Sakura stuttered, "I just really want this to go good, really bad." Sasuke noticed how bummed Sakura looked, so he decided to drop the subject. "You can make some very fine chocolate covered strawberries, you know." He told her with a smile. "Really, you think so?" Sakura asked with some excitement in her tone. "The best I've ever had." He replied. They spent the rest of the day laughing and chatting away. By sunset, they had finally finished. Sakura seemed to be thinking about something really hard, so hard it showed on her face. "What are you thinking about?" Sasuke asked with a chuckle. "Actually, I've been thinking about how…I think…I'm ready now."

"Ready for what?" Sasuke asked. "This." Sakura said as she kissed him. Sasuke was really surprised, but got over that as the kiss became more and more enjoyable, wrapping his thin arms around her and closing his eyes showing he never wanted it to end. As the kiss finally ended they started to get ready to go home. "Out of all the dates we've had Sasuke," Sakura was telling him, "I think this is the best one yet." Sasuke could only smile as they walked down the dirt path, holding hands.
