Save me: Meg griffin: poor meg is so abused and I really dont understand why. She has a few flaws, but who doesn't? so this is me saving the poor girl in as many ways as I choose. Number One: saved by her real dad.

Meg had heard the joke so many times it had stopped being funny long ago. She wasn't wanted by her mother or her father, and now she knew why. A tear dropped from her face as she stared at the document for what felt like the millionth time. Why hadn't her mother ever told her that Peter wasn't her father? Was she ashamed, or just worried that someone would catch on to how she treated her only daughter? Likely it was because of her father, the elderly Petershmidt being just the type Meg could see telling her daughter to pretend this tryst had never happend.

She felt herself curious as she looked at the name on the paper, Bill Dauterive and she wondered what kind of man was he? A short search on the internet found a military record as well as a signed divorce paper. She even learned that he lived in texas. But what to do about it? She could ignore it as her mother had done, and a big part of her was screaming to do exactly that. An even bigger part of her was saying that this Bill deserved to know that he had a daughter. Curiosity won out over any desire she may have had for keeping her mothers dignity intact. A smashed piggy bank and a quick trip into her parents bedroom and she had enough for the bus ticket.

The bus ride seemed shorter than she thought possible as she soon found herself in front of her fathers door and knocked.

"Yes?"

He wasn't exactly a prime specimen, but she could see the resemblance between them right away

"Bill Dauterive?"

"Yes?"

"Im Meg, and I'm your daughter."

End chapter

I know that Bill from King of the hill is not really Megs dad, but could you imagine if he was? A divorcee with no real life, longing for what he can't have, its like meg in male form.
