Chapter 1:Dreams
I was falling onto a dark platform I couldn't see. All around I could only see darkness. A voice all around me said "Are you ready to begin your test." Without warning a path opened out before me and so I walked along it and at the end waiting for me was a door. When I opened the door light enveloped me and when i could see again suddenly I was on a battleground covered with odd looking weapons and what stood around me were creatures of shadow that were like monsters. The voice spoke again and said "With the weapon from within you defeat these creatures of Darkness." I wondered what the voice had meant and so instead I tried to fight them with my fists. I was beaten immediately by these creatures and the voice said "Just focus your power and it will appear." So I followed the voice's instructions and focused and almost immediately a weapon appeared in my hand and fought the creatures. I had beaten them all but suddenly darkness opened out beneath me and began to swallow me. At that the voice said "Do not be afraid of the descent for you shall soon have to face it and all its horrors." I didn't understand what the voice mean but still tried to not be scared as I was swallowed by the darkness.
I stood bolt upright on my bed thinking I was still dreaming but seeing I was in my room I immediately calmed down. Looking at my clock I realized it was almost 7:00 A.M and remembered I had to get ready for school. I also remembered I had to ready my bag because after school me and Lukas were going to the island to hang a little before tomorrow. Realizing everything I had to do quickly I groaned with annoyance and got out of bed with thoughts of the dream fading away to the back of my head.
