Clink-clink-clink-clack-clack
Are sounds that give life to the poker hall
The Dealer moves the chips up front and back
As he waits for each player's call
A thousand memories of triumphs and tears
Have passed in this small casino
But none as tragic as the past
Of Jimmy "The Gambler" Gambino
A bookie by trade, Jimmy took pride
In never walking away from a bet
But Lady Luck was prepared to switch sides
To make Jimmy join the losers yet!
Boss Larry Catello persuaded him
To take the long-shot chance
Unable to lose face, Jimmy agreed
With hardly a backwards glance
The loss of the match left Gambino quite broken
Having no money to pay his dues
Looks like it was the end of the line
How could the Gambler actually lose??
Cut to pieces, tossed out to the seas
The day was a mass of confusion
Denizens of the surf only hear his pleas
To send along divine retribution
The fateful day he was captured
Ended his life as Jimmy
In house arrest due to Kritikos
He is a creature worthy of pity
Now forever dubbed "The Torso"
He has joined into The Thirteen
And his face, forever wrapped in plastic
Is locked open in an eternal scream.
