A/N: AU Where the Stargate program went public. They weren't able to activate the cloak when Atlantis landed. Shame on Rodney! Tell me what you think!
Carly flashed a smile. "And now you can be very certain if your pickle lights on fire it wasn't an accident."
Sam stepped forward and flashed a similar smile as she leaned her elbow on Carly's shoulder. "Next on iCarly, we have a very special guest."
Carly leaned a little closer and said mock-seriously, "Very special."
Freddie cued the dramatic music and Sam and Carly made mysterious faces very, very close to the camera. Suddenly they stopped, and Carly looked over at Sam.
"Should we stop invading their personal space and tell them?"
Sam nodded curtly and said in a British accent, "Yes, let's!"
Sam cued the drumroll as they wordlessly donned their sunglasses. A beam of bright white light filled the room. Freddie squinted, wondering why he hadn't gotten used to that even after all their run-throughs. Colonel John Sheppard now stood in the middle of the room in his off-world uniform, smiling charmingly. Sam and Carly gestured with arms open wide as Freddie activated some crazy flashing lights.
"Colonel John Sheppard!"
John waved and sat in the chair Gibby had just dragged into the room.
Sam and Carly hopped into their chairs and faced John.
"So, Colonel Sheppard-" Carly began.
"Oh, you can call me John."
Carly chuckled nervously and continued. "Okay, John, what was it like saving Earth from the Wraith?"
"Well, it was a team effort really. It was nerve-racking, but I'd say it was worth it."
Sam laughed as she took a bite of sausage. "Me, too."
Carly looked over at her, extremely puzzled. "Where did you get that?"
"Gibbster."
Carly shook her head and turned back to John. "So, what can you tell us about the wraith?"
"Well, they're basically life-sucking vampires bent on conquest."
Sam laughed. "Sounds like Nevel."
Carly looked over at Sam with shock and batted at her arm. "Sam!"
She sighed, then turned back to John. "Actually, it's kind of true," she admitted bashfully.
John laughed and stood, saluting each girl and Freddie, who nodded back. "Well, I better get back. I can't leave Rodney alone too long or he soils the carpet."
With a another spectacular flash of light John was gone.
