It was a fairly nice evening on Alternia when Eridan Ampora and Terezi Pyrope had quite possibly the most amazing night ever. It had started off as just two trolls on the town, Eridan dressed in drag, Terezi just wearing whatever the fuck she had thrown together. Nothing too romantic happened, just two ladies out on the town. But that is not the focus of our story. It's what happened after their night out that is the main point.

They were laying on Terezi's floor, staring up at the ceiling and just talking about nothing in general. Boys, girls, clothing, landwwellers, etc. Karkat's quadrants shoved their way into their conversation more than once, and the arguments that followed were very interesting indeed. Nepeta would have been able to provide much more assistance on that topic, but alas, she was with her moirail at the moment doing stupid moirail shit. At some point in time along the length of their conversation, Eridan brought up a blogging site that he had recently discovered, and an entity named 'Slenderman' that he was rather obsessed with.

"No, listen, Ter, I'm tellin' you, he is like the fuckin' best thing since sliced bread, he just comes out a' nowhere and fucks shit up whenever he feels like it!"

"Eridan, no offense, but that sounds like a really shitty fanfiction that someone wrote because they liked tentacle porn."

"No, no, no, you're not gettin' the point! The tentacles are just like, added on to the actual horror a the situation like cherries on a sundae."

Terezi shook her head, biting a rather large chunk off of the bright red piece of chalk she had been licking.

"Nope. Not only is he not real, but he is so obviously a kinky sort of tentacle monster. You're just in denial."

Eridan sat up, glaring at his friend. He reached over and grabbed a piece of black chalk laying nearby. "Fuck. You. Ter. He is real, and I am goin' to fuckin' prove it to you." He began to scribble on the wall, and Terezi just sort of layed there because she's blind and yeah.

A few minutes later, after a very large circle had been drawn with a crude X slashed over top of it, they sat together, waiting.

"I don't think he's coming, Eridan." Terezi was so not falling for this. Not in a million years.

"Shhhhhhh, he'll come, trust me, he's done this like a thousand times."

Terezi stood up and walked away from her 'pal'. "Yeah, I'll believe it when I smell it."

Perhaps it was fate that she said that, because at exactly that moment a large, dark entity entered the room from the shadows, his stark white face contrasting heavily with his crisp, dark suit. Eridan gasped and fell back onto the bed. Terezi, on the other hand, seeing how she is blind and shit like that, just stood there with a rather blank face.

"What? Eridan, what just happened? I smell black licorice. Eridan?"
