Hey'o! Sorry for my absence, but thanks for not spamming me about being gone!
Side Note: This story takes place during Total Drama Action, which I don't own. Just wanted to get that out there. Onto the story!!
No One's POV
Gwen and Duncan were standing outside on the bridge, looking up at the stars. It was nearly silent.
"Is it just me, or does that constellation look like Harold's pancake butt, with the spaghetti legs attached? See?" Gwen pointed out the trail of stars.
Nothing. Duncan said nothing. He just continued to stare at the glimmering sky with a smile on his face.
"Ugh, I just gave you the perfect setup for a dig, and you leave me hanging? What's your damage?" Gwen said, while jokingly punching Duncan in the arm.
"Do you think Courtney might be looking at the stars right now?" Duncan spoke without taking his eyes off the sky.
Gwen made a retching noise, and then laughed. "Wow, who knew you were such a sucker for the A-type!" She laughed and lightly shoved Duncan.
Duncan looked at her, and without missing a beat, said, "You wanna make something of it?" Then jokingly jabbed Gwen in the arm.
Gwen grabbed her arm while chuckling. "You can do better than that!"
Both Duncan and Gwen were laughing, not entirely paying attention to what they were doing. Before they could do anything, Duncan had accidentally shoved Gwen onto the ground, and in the process, fallen on top of her.
They were still chuckling, then, the realization of what had just happened set. An awkward silence filled the air. They were barely and inch from kissing.
Gwen's POV
It's all fun and games until a guy you're kinda into falls on top of you, who just so happens to be dating the girl who is kinda your enemy, kinda your friend, but would still kill you if she saw this happening.
Courtney is going to be pissed.
She's going to know that this happened, one way or another, she'll find out. This whole scene will probably end up on the show! Then I'm dead. I might as well start planning out my will.
I have zero shame in admitting that I kinda like Duncan. Well, I have a little shame. But whatever! It's still so freaking awkward being almost pinned to the ground by someone else's boyfriend!
We stared at each other for what felt like 20 years. It was awkward. Very awkward.
"What just happened?"
Duncan finally broke the silence. Thank the lords.
"I, uh, don't know."
"We should probably get up, yeah?" Duncan laughed nervously.
"Yeah, probably, heh heh..." I sounded like an idiot.
This awkwardness was finally coming to an end! Yes! We would get up, and pretend this whole thing never happened! Then I won't be in a coffin before I turn twenty!
Duncan moved his hand to get up, and then, the worst possible thing that could have happened, happened.
His hand slipped.
Duncan's POV
I was getting up to end this awkward situation, and my hand slipped. I'm a dumbass. My whole weight fell onto Gwen, and before I could do anything about it...
Our lips met.
We were both shocked, and I dunno about Gwen, but I was pleased. But Courtney's my girlfriend. Crap. She's gonna be pissed. She's gonna kill me.
Whatever! The kiss lasted almost a minute. It was great. We separated, and Gwen was blushing like crazy. It was cute.
No One's POV
It had been nearly 2 hours since "the incident" happened. And things were awkward.
They were both about to head back to their trailers, when Gwen swiftly grabbed Duncan's arm.
"Let's just not tell Courtney about this."
"Agreed."
And that's it. This definitely isn't the best story I've written, so just focus on the plot and not my crappy writing skills, heh heh...RR if you want. Bye!
