I blame Kuwakaskei for making me love ArcherXKimblee!

Takes place around episode 39 of the first series…I think…

Disclaimer- I do not own FMA or a train. Or anything for that matter.

Private compartment.

Jean Havoc appeared to be staring into space as he rode the train, yet there was a look of concentration in his eyes and a frown on his face.

"What are you daydreaming about?" Roy asked as he looked over to him.

"I was just wondering…how come Archer and Kimblee get a private compartment on the train and none of us do?"

"Because Colonel Archer is in a higher rank." Falman replied.

"Well Roy's a Colonel too, why doesn't he get a private compartment?"

"Archer's closer to the higher ups of the military." Breda said. "So he gets all the special privileges."

"But why is Kimblee in there with him?"

"You know how a lot of soldiers feel about him." Fuery replied. "You know what he's done in the past, his reputation. He even looks frightening."

"A lot of other soldiers feel the same way too." Breda said. "They probably feel safer with him 'locked away', so to speak."

"Also, Archer is the unofficial caretaker of The Crimson Alchemist." Falman piped in. "He seems to be the only one who can get through to him and talk with him."

Jean sighed. "Even knowing all that, I still don't see why they need a private compartment. Couldn't they just go to another section of the train?"

"Archer probably paid for a private compartment." Roy said, leaning back in his seat.

"Why?"

Roy shrugged. "I don't know! Now would you let it go already?"

Jean stood up. "No; I'm going in there and finding out the truth! I'll ask them outright why they need a private compartment."

Jean walked over and opened the door.

Kimblee was sitting horizontally on a seat, his military jacket unbuttoned and open. His hands were wrapped around Archer's back. Archer was on top of him, one hand on his shoulder, another one up his shirt. Their lips were locked together. From the second the door opened, they froze. Archer pulled away, turned to Jean and gave him a glare so cold Jean actually started to shiver. Kimblee avoided any eye contact with him, a small blush in his cheeks.

"Get. Out." Archer said, in a harsh, almost hissing voice. "Now."

Jean immediately shut the door and ran back to his seat.

"What's with you?" Roy asked. "Your face is all red."

"I'm fine!"

"…What did you see in there?"

"Nothing, nothing!"

The Flame Alchemist raised an eyebrow at him, then shook his head and looked out the window.

Jean breathed heavily and even shook a little.

Fuery, who was sitting next to him, leaned over and whispered to him, "Hey, what did you see?"

Havoc leaned back to him and whispered, "Let's just say that, next train ride, you and I need to get a private compartment~."
