(I was role playing with someone and I got this idea from the ending line, I wanted to make it a one shot because I loved it so much!)
Saskue clashed swords with the god, his elegant silver wings spread out behind him as the two fought. She watched from the cage as the two clashed swords, tears streaming down her pale face from her emerald green eyes. Her pink hair was hanging limply over her shoulders.
"Let her go!" Saskue yelled thrusting his sword threw the gods arm, causing the god to release the grip he had on Saskues arm.
"She is to be executed for her sins! Do not protect the tainted ones!" the man roared, coming at Saskue with his golden wings spread out behind him. Saskue charged at him as well, his katana pointed towards the god's heart as the god's sword was pointed towards his head. In a split second, everything changed.
Some of Saskues hair fell to the ground; the gods sword cracked in half as Saskues sword was plunged threw his heart.
"H-how d-dare y-you!" the god stuttered before going limp and still. All was quiet for a moment as the god turned to light and ran over to the cage and bent the bars so he could get in, his onyx eyes looking worried.
"Sakura, are you alright?" He asked, looking to her with her white wings wrapped around her and her emerald eyes terrified.
"I-I'm alright Saskue-kun" She stuttered, looking at him. His eyes softened and he wrapped his arms around her, holding her to him softly.
"Good . . . but, what is going to happen now?" he asked, gesturing to the fact that there was no longer a high king. She gulped.
"The prophecy states that if one god kills another, if the one that is still alive was of lower status then the one killed, then they would gain the deceased one's status and power. . ." She whispered, hoping he wouldn't get angry. His eyes widened and he looked at her, stunned.
"W-what?" he stuttered, his eyes wide in disbelief. She simply nods and smiles widely at him, a few stray tears falling from her eyes.
"I can't believe it. . ." He muttered, looking at her as she began talking.
"The moment you met me, your path of life was altered, it happens to any who cross me. You're the only one who had made it this far without running away from me, and im surprised. Who knew you'd become the king of heaven? Who knew that you would stay with me, no matter what? Some questions can be answered, but others can't. So you have every right to not believe how your life has turned out, you deserve much better."
Sakura smiled, breathing a bit faster after her speech as she gazed into Saskue's eyes lovingly.
"You know what? I've wanted to say that for a while now..."
Saskue smiles and gently holds her face in his hands, softly pressing his forehead to hers and kissed her with more passion and love then ever before then.
And she returned that kiss with everything she had.
Human,
Then angel,
Then demon,
Now god.
This is the prophecy of the dark angels, and she is one. She is the one who changed his fate forever, and who will stay with him for the rest of eternity. Without complaint.
