Okay, so I was just writing my M-rated last night at about half-past midnight and after I finished my M-rated I just wanted to write more, and this was the first thing that came to my mind. But don't worry. This is hardly even T-rated, but just marked T incase. D Hope you like it! For my standards, it's kinda sweet. D
Being partnered with Sasori was the best thing that had happed to Deidara ever since he had been forced to join the Akatsuki. He treasured his beloved partner, and in the rare occasions when Sasori would come out of his puppet, Deidara never failed to take him out. Wherever to, it did not matter, as long as Sasori could get fresh air and be happy. So that Sasori could be happy.
That was the reason that he gave Sasori when he asked why he kept taking him out. Sasori had simply looked at Deidara, looked away, then said.
"You know there isn't point; I can't feel. You are simply wasting your time. You can be happy, so go be. Don't stick around me,"
And that was what he said every time after that when Deidara took him out. That didn't stop Deidara.
"You living core is a heart. I am sure, somewhere inside, you can feel, Master Sasori, un,"
And then Deidara would take Sasori by the hand and drag him to wherever he had planned them to go.
On one occasion, Deidara took Sasori to a meadow, where the colors were so bright and many that in comparison, a rainbow seemed dull.
"I found it while I was flying a few days ago. Beautiful, isn't it?" Deidara had said. But Sasori had said nothing to reply this. He had simply stated.
"There isn't point, Deidara. I can't feel," but Deidara didn't care, or rather, he believed that somewhere in Sasori, he could. So Deidara just sat down onto the grass and smiled up at his partner, who sat down beside him.
Deidara plucked a stalk of lavender from the array of colors and playfully put it on Sasori's head.
"Your living core is a heart. I am sure, somewhere, you can feel, Master Sasori, un," Deidara told Sasori.
Sasori brushed the flower off.
"But that's just it! I have the body of a puppet, but I still have a single living core of a human; a heart! I am neither puppet, nor fully human! You deserve better than me, Deidara,"
A vein twitched in Deidara's forehead. Deidara stuffed a Forget-me-not into Sasori's mouth.
"W-What the!" Sasori spluttered, spitting the flower out.
"You tell me to be happy, Master Sasori, and I am happy when I am together with you, un," Deidara assured his partner. "You are not a waste of time; not being with you is. And you are not neither puppet nor human; you are both puppet and human, and that is what I love about you, Master Sasori, un," an he put his hand onto Sasori's the wood feeling warm to his touch.
Sasori looked at the confident blonde beside him, with the breeze making ripples in the grass in the background, and he knows that he can trust him. Sasori smiled. A true smile which may be meaningless to countless millions, but it warmed the heart of his cherished partner.
