Muffled shouts caused a five year old Saya to venture from her bedroom. Her pale gray eyes watched from the stairwell as her drunk father flung her mother around like a rag doll. From the staircase, Saya could hear her father's slurred voice perfectly. She flinched when her mother's body cracked against the wall. Watching her mothers lifeless body being thrown, around like a corpse in a tumbler caused a vile taste to rise in her throat. How could her loving father turn into a monster that hated all beings. Saya's breath caught in her throat as her father glanced at her, a menacing smile graced his drunken lips.
"Saya dear, come here now! I want to show you something. This is what happens when someone disobeys me." Her father slurred as he threw her mother a crossed the ground. Gasping, Saya raced for her mothers fallen form.
"Mommy are you okay? Mommy!" Her mother's hand reached slow up to her face. Saya leaned into her mother's hand on her cheek. She watched as her mother's lips formed word, but no sound fallowed. Fanilly a ragged voice cracked, "Saya … Baby... I want... you to run as far from him as you can." Tears pricked to her mother's eyes. Shuffling sounds came from the drawers behind them, Saya's father was looking for something. He didn't seem to hear her mother's weak voice.
"Mommy come with me! I won't leave with out you!" Tears started to flow freely from her eyes. They both froze when the click of a gun hammer sounded. Her mother mouthed the words run, but it was too late. The bullet pierced her mother torso causing her to scream out in pain. Blood splatter over Saya's white tee-shirt. Her mother's breath began to slow rapidity.
"Saya... my... dear...dear... baby... girl... I... want...you... to... be... a.. good little girl... for the sake of me... please.. be good... live... to your fullest extents... I... love you baby... please... remember... th-"
Her eyes began to dull as the light of them left, and her breathing stopped. Saya's father's sickening laugh corrupted the room. She tried her best to keep the tears in, but she failed. Slowly reaching over she closed her mother's lifeless eyes. 'She will wake tomorrow I know it!' She knew it was a lie. Her mother was never going to come back no matter how much she said it in her mind.
Saya stumbled as she stood tears ran down her pale cheeks. She stared at her mother's body; she looked like a bloody angel, in her black nightgown and long wavy blonde hair spread out around her. Rushing at her father when he kicked her mother's body, she used all her might in each little punch. "I hate you! She didn't need to die... You you!" Saya choked on the last of her words as her father kicked her off his leg.
"Say anymore you little bitch and I'll make sure you join your mother in the afterlife." He chucked as Saya pressed her little body up against the wall. "Now sweety go to bed." Nodding Saya ran up the stairs and towards her door. Her life was becoming a living hell. She wanted to wake up from this night mare, but she knew deep down there was no waking up. It was now the life she had to live through.
