A/N: Hey guys! It's been a while. I reread my first fic and realized that it was absolute trash. I'm not sure that this will be much better, but I will try not to upload chapters that are shorter than the author's note. If you want to reread the original, it's still up on my account. Be warned, it's not good, it's not finished, and there will be spoilers for this story. Anyway, here's the new and improved version of Missing. Side note and spoiler alert, in order for this story to work, Terra shows up about a year after the Titans beat Trigon.

Disclaimer: I do not own the Teen Titans in any way, shape, or form. They are the sole property of DC and Warner Brothers. I also do not own the song Missing by Evanescence. Obviously, that song is solely owned by Evanescence and their production company. If I did own either of those things, that would be awesome, but, sadly, I do not. Please don't sue, I have no money.

"They don't need me anymore. There's no point in me staying. I'll just be a burden on them." She repeated these sentences over and over to herself as she packed her bags. It was hard to say whether it was to punish herself or convince herself that she was doing the right thing. "They have her now. She'll be better for the Titans' image anyway," Raven thought as she placed the last cloak in her bag. As she went to go pick up her portal mirror, her hand accidentally bumped into a picture. In fact, the only picture in her entire room.

It was taken during the celebration they had right after defeating Trigon. A brief smile lit up her face as the memory flashed across her mind.

~~~Flashback~~~
"Okay, y'all, before we get this party started, let's take a picture. I mean, it's not every day that we save THE ENTIRE FRICKIN' UNIVERSE! Everybody gather round" Cyborg said as he pulled up the camera in his arm. The team got into position, but just as Cyborg was about to take the picture, Beast Boy spotted Silkie out of the corner of his eye. "SILKIE, NO! MY BACON!" Beast Boy shouted as the alien larva ate his tofu bacon along with the plate the bacon was sitting on. In his mad scramble towards Silkie, Beast Boy accidentally pushed Starfire into Robin and caused Cyborg to turn around only to find Silkie headed towards the regular bacon.
~~~End Flashback~~~

Needless to say, the photo did not turn out as planned, but it did perfectly capture each of the Titan's personalities, which is what made it perfect to Raven. She picked up the picture and thought about packing it. Then she remembered the conversation she had had with Robin right before the party when he called her the most hopeful person he had ever met. 'I'm sorry, Robin, but even my hope has its limits. It's time for both of us to have new beginnings.' She set the picture back down and turned around to put her mirror in her bag.

After taking one last look around her room, she placed a note and her communicator on her pillow, picked up her bag, and teleported to a place where, hopefully, the Titans would never be able to find her.
