To my Mother

One-shot between Rini, Neo Queen Serenity and Queen Serenity. I don't own Sailor Moon.

A pink-haired girl looked up at the sound of her mother's voice. She was sitting on her mother's bed holding a piece of paper she had found. "Mommy!" The girl cried jumping off the bed and running to hug her mother. "Rini, what are you doing here?" Her mother -Neo Queen Serenity- asked. "I was waiting for you. I found this piece of paper on the floor. It has a poem written by you on it." Rini answered. "Oh? Does it?" Neo Queen Serenity asked then began to read it out loud.

"To my Mother Queen Serenity

I held you to my heart

I hold you in my soul

Then the time came

And I let you go

It was hard yes I know

But it was time

So I let you go

My heart holds part of you

My soul does as well

So many memories

I leave them to rest

Once I cried my fill of sorrowful tears

I knew you were happy

So I let you go."

Mother and daughter sat on the bed together one lost in the memories of the past and the other wondering what Queen Serenity was like. Queen Serenity stood near them a mere spirit but a comforting presence none the less.
