I don't own Twilight

Emmetts POV

I laid by Rosalie, the sky a dull blue. It had been a year since I was bitten, leaving my thirst subdued to a persistent scratch in the back of my throat. In celebration of my new birthday, Carlisle had let Rosalie and I take a vacation. She and laid in a cornfield, our clothes thrown aside somewhere. She cuddled close to me as we talked about something or other. In other words, it was awesome. The sun slowly crawled upwards, spreading warmth around my body. "How does it feel to see the sun again?"She asked still cuddled next to me. It's much brighter I thought to myself as I got up. I walked over to get our clothes when something. It was like flouting glitter. More sparkles started appearing, and then I realized they were on me. "Get off me!" I yelled at them, trying to swat them off. Rosalie stood up, looking embarrassed, while the sparkles were on her too. "What's going on?" I asked her. "Well, you remember when you first became a vampire, and I told you that superstitions about us are incorrect, like how we burn up in sunlight?" "Yes," I said in annoyance, still trying to shoo away the sparkles. "Um, you kind of do something else when in the sunlight…" "I SPARKLE?" I yelled. She nodded her head slowly. I face palmed myself, my self esteem crushed. She walked over to me. "Don't worry; I find naked, sparkling vampires very cute." I looked down to see my nuts lit up like a Christmas tree.
