"Did you know.."
The wind blew softly as her short bright hair swayed to the right. He looked at her.
"Ever since...he..left, I've been with you more than ever?" She looked at the ground, "and to tell you the truth, I feel like...like, I don't know.."
His black eye closed as he leaned back into the tree, resting the book to his lap "Like something's missing?"
She nodded, "I think...I think I-"
"Miss him?"He looked at her.
Her eyes watered but she wouldn't let them spill, "That and-"
"Don't." Was his simple reply, he opened his eye and looked at straight at her shinning green eyes.
"Kakashi-sensei-"
He interuppted her again by putting his gloved finger over her lips.
"Its not your fault."
Two months ago, this day, Naruto...Naruto-kun, became a missing nin. Kakashi-sensei says it isn't my fault, but he doesn't know the real story. What I did, what I couldn't do, what I should have done. I made the biggest mistake in my life. I'm so stupid. Why couldn't I tell him? Why couldn't I just say it? How I feel, what I think, what I want. I should have...I should have told him...
"I love him.."
April 1st:
The Spring Festival...
"Na-ru-to." Haruno Sakura whispered into Uzumaki Naruto's ear.
"S-Sakura-chan?" Chills streamed down his back as he stared at her.
She was wearing a light pink kimono with a darker shade of pink sakura flowers over it. Her short pink hair was up in a cute, but messy bun. Lips full with glossy, pink, lip gloss.
Naruto watched her lips closely.
"Ohayo, Naruto-kun." She smiled at him and took a seat besides him.
"..."
Sakura gave him a weird look, "Naruto? Are you okay?"
Naruto blinked, "Ah, hai! Sorry, my mind went blank." He grinned and rubbed the back of his head.
Sakura shrugged and ordered chicken flavored ramen.
Naruto slurpped his, loving the taste. "Mhmm, ramen."
Sakura giggled. Naruto blushed at that and looked back at his ramen. "Sakura-chan, who are you going with to the festival?"
She frowned, "No one, I guess."
Naruto paused for a minute, "I go with you."
She looked up at him and gleamed, "Really? Is that fine with you? I mean I know you were planning on visiting Gaara and-"
Naruto laughed, "I rather hang out with a beautiful woman, then hang out with a moody Gaara."
Sakura blushed, "Thank you, Naruto."
"Sakura-san! Naruto!" Rock Lee appeared wearing his famous green spandax suit.
"Lee-san." Sakura smiled.
"Lee." Naruto mumbled and slurpped more of his ramen.
Lee took Sakura's hand. Naruto glared at him, "Beautiful Sakura-san, your youth has glown one million times all over Konoha. Would you allow me to join you to the Spring Fesitval?"
Naruto took Lee's hand away from Sakura's, "Lee, I'm going with her."
Lee gasped and looked at Sakura, "Is this true? Have I fallin' to Naruto?"
"Um, Lee, Naruto is taking me.."
"NOO!" Lee wailed, "I have failed, Gai-sensei! I shall do 500 hundred push ups with one finger!" He then ran off.

"Lee has issues."
"Naruto, don't say that!"
Naruto chuckled and took Sakura's hand, "Your youth is so lively! Let us walk are way to the festival!"
Sakura giggled,"We shall."
"And if I don't get you there on time, I shall do 600 hundred push ups, with no fingers!"
Sakura giggled again.
"You dork..."
Kay it's short, but just want to get the story flowing...
