"They're cute," says Kayo.

"They're bearded dragons- " Scott begins.

"No need to Scottsplain. I know what they are. So, how did you end up with them?"

"I thought they were cute too. And Gordon's allergic."

"To lizards?"

"To taking care of lizards."

"Be different if they had gills and lived in the sea."

"Or were blonde and female."

"Or didn't remind him of the monsters that tried to eat him. Are you going to stick with Buddy and Ellie? I know how much you love 'Into The Unknown'."

"Guess I'll have to. They were a gift from his two favorite people of all time."

"You can't keep them in that tiny box. What are you going to do?"

"I figure I'd get a big tank and ask Brains to recreate their natural habitat. Or, I could... y'know, let 'em loose. Pretty sure there are critters on Tracy Island we've never seen, two more won't make a difference."

"Gordon will be heartbroken."

"Nah. He got over Mr. Panda pretty quick."

"True. He does tend to have the attention span of a flea. Well, don't release them just yet. I kind of like them. I'd be happy to help you look after them, once Brains has built this super ecosystem for them to live in. Little lizard houses with little front gardens and little swimming pools and a little car, maybe a little lizard shopping mall and a tiny skatepark, maybe a lizard tavern for them to hang out and socialize..."

"Hey now, there's a plan. We could build a little lizard city!"

"Let's do it!"

"Lizardtopia is Go!"

Three days later Gordon is led to a huge lizard compound in the lush grounds of Tracy villa. Buddy and Ellie are sunning themselves on the lawn of Maison des Dragons, a luxurious mini mansion built for reptiles.

"Surprise, Squid Boy!"

Gordon opens his eyes. "Aw, man! This is amazing! It's like Penny's place only much much smaller! Can I have them back?"

"Nope. They're mine now, you didn't want them."

"But,"

"No buts. You didn't want them."

"You suck," says Gordon and storms off.

Moral of the story: Take care of your lizards or someone else will.
