I saw her, she took my hand. I was probably imagining things from the blood loss. She started to talk, "You finally made it, I missed you Tobias."
She helped me up. She was wearing different clothes than when she died. Under her white shirt I could see her tattoo on her collarbone, three ravens. When I looked at myself I was wearing all white, like her. She led me to a court where to men sat.
"Where am I?" I asked.
"You are in the Telling Court. This is where we tell you if you shall be moving on or to be tortured." Both men said at the same time. "We have been watching you; you have changed your city and the people around you. Even the people did great things because of you. We have decided to let you move on."
After that, she led me to a field where the sun was bright and the grass was so vivid. I didn't know if it was truly her or not, I had to ask. "Tris, is it really you?"
"Of course it is." she said, her voice so soft.
"Why did you go?" I said starting to cry.
"I had to; Caleb wouldn't have been able to resist the death serum."
"I missed you so much."
"I know, I saw. It really hurt me to see you cry and almost drink the memory serum; why would you try?"
"I didn't want to see a world without you in it."
"But you didn't, why?"
"I didn't want to forget you, all the great times we had. I loved, I mean I love, you."
"I know," she said," I saw you zip-line while spreading my ashes. I wish we could keep talking but we have to meet up with a few people."
She started to walk as I followed.
I still couldn't believe that she was her; I had to be dreaming, I had to wake up, but did I really want to?
She led me down the green grass field to a park where trees were tall and green. Near two trees was a blanket laid down with food and a basket on it, a picnic. Two people approached us, also wearing white, Marlene and Uriah.
I started crying, remembering what I'd done that had killed Uriah. Sure, I knew this had to be a dream, but I couldn't help it.
Uriah came to me, hugged me and said, "It's okay. It wasn't your fault; you were blinded by Nina, I don't blame you. Because of you I get to see Marlene everyday again." He leaned in and hugged Marlene.
"Where are we?" I asked.
"C'mon Four, of all people I thought you would know," Marlene said. "Where do you think we are?"
"I, I don't know." I stammered.
"Come on, put the facts together." Marlene said.
"But, we, we can't be here, not heaven." I said
"I'm sorry, but we are and you're going to have to accept it." Tris said solemnly.
