Chapter 1; You'll have regrets
Edward's POV
I sat in biology class today staring in to space. That was fairly normal for me because I was always deep in to thought. I turned my head slightly to see a girl, Jessica Stanely, smiling at me.
Hehe I think he's blushing. I raised my eyebrows at her but she didn't seem to notice. I wasn't blushing because I couldn't. She appeared to be wrtiting something down. She stretched out passing me a note.
Hi Edward. I was just wondering if you'd go to the dance with me? I just figured
since you obviously like me you would.
I stifled a laugh. I liked HER?! So I quickly wrote back.
I'm sorry Jessica, but I have no interest in you what so ever. So that would be a no.
I passed the note back to her. Her face crumpled for a moment, then she got up and stood in front of my desk. Her hands were placed firmly on her hips as she leaned down to be eye level with me.
"Listen to me, Edward Cullen. Nobody says no to Jessica Stanely. Nobody. I saw the way you looked at me and I know you like me." She hissed in my ear so only I could hear. She threw me one last menacing look before she walked out the door. I blinked a few times before I, myself left.
Lunch
I was sitting at my usual table with my family. Rosalie and Alice were discussing what to wear to the dance, and Emmett and Jasper seemed to be laughing about an inside joke. I sighed and twiddled my thumbs. Lauren Mallory walked up to my table with a horrendous face. I turned in my seat so I could face her. She quickly slapped me as I did.
"How dare you turn down Jessica?" She snapped.
Atleast he's still open. I could hear her thinking. I was speechless for a moment and then Emmett spoke up.
"Lauren, is that really any of you're business?" I looked at him bug eyed.
"Yes, Emmett I do believe I have the right to know. She's my best friend and you're brother here just broke her heart!" She shouted. Half the cafetiria turned to see what the commotion was. I couldn't take it. I took my tray and left. I was soon followed by Emmett, Rosalie, and Jasper.
"Have a nice lunch, Lauren!" Alice murmered cheerfully to Lauren as she left.
The nerve of that boy. That beautiful boy. He'll be sorry he messed with me or Jessica.
