A thousand years ago the magical community underwent a great schism. The great split between wizards and sorcerers. Wizards are prone to fanciful wand waving and memorizing incantations. They are the children with their noses ever-pressed firmly to their textbooks. But sorcerers are of a different breed. They do not work with minor tweaks of magical ability, rather; they wield the raw power of the elements and the natural( and unnatural) world.
Sorcerers are divided into many different sects, called guilds. These guilds represents the different divides in the sorcery community. The guilds go as follows:
The Geomancer Guild
The Aguamancer Guild
The Aeromancer Guild
The Pyromancer Guild
(These four are called The Chief Elemental Guilds)
The Aglomancer Guild
The Shadowmancer Guild
The Chronomancer Guild
The Neuromancer Guild
(These four are called The Derivative Guilds)
Of course all sorcerers are learned with knowledge of all types of magic from each of those branches however after four years of rudimentary education in magic the young sorcerer would choose his guild. But even so, inguildary studies are encouraged so to provide a firmer bases for general magic.
Sora Sasori is a sixth year student in the Pyromancer Guild but unlike the other students in this guild Sora is also a member of the Neuromancer Guild. But dark times have befallen England. The Dark Lord has gained power as of late and Sora feared for his family member's lives who had fought with Dumbledore in the first war.
