The girl in the mirror stared back at me, her brilliantly violet almond-shaped eyes shining with just a little too much moisture. Her nearly white skin was flawless, and her full, volumous raven black hair fell in waves down to her waist, contrasting with her petite, muscular frame. Her face was slender and heart-shaped, making her eyes and cheekbones just that more prominent. Her full lips looked polished to the extreme, a small scar running along the left side of the bottom lip the only imperfection. Her eyebrows were oddly shaped, making it look like she was always slightly raising one of them. She brought one of her hands to her face, slowly tracing across the scar on her lip, showing long, skinny fingers and perfect nails. She was extremely beautiful, almost inhumanly, but she could blend in as long as she hid her fangs. The girl smiled, showing said canines.

I smiled and moved in time with her, but I knew it wasn't me. Yes, that girl may have looked like me and may have had the same sorrow in her eyes, but she wasn't me. She was too innocent, she didn't have to deal with the things I had to.

A single tear fell down the girl's eye, but she made no move to wipe it away. Another slowly followed it on the other side, and soon the tears were running freely. She didn't care. She just let them flow, allowing herself the small outlet she had to release the pain, for however short the time.

I saw my tears flow, saw them and felt them, but I couldn't care less. I needed to cry, to break down and sob. I needed to be held tightly, so tightly that there was no chance of me shattering like only God knew how much I needed to.

The girl's expression didn't change as the tear flowed freely down her cheeks and dripped off her chin. She held tight to the emotionless mask that had become her life, not letting a single thing show aside from the rivers of salt water that were now cascading down her face.

The tears were itchy on me, but I still didn't move.

The girl didn't move. She looked like she couldn't even if she tried.

Okay, I know it's completely random, but this girl is one of Adrian's ex-girlfriends right after he broke up with her. Just a weird inspirational thing to get rid of my writers block. Thanks for reading!!
