The Forgotten Prince
The Forgotten Prince
His father was king,
His mother was queen.
All were lost,
But he was found.
By a man colder than steel,
Who was ruled by greed.
But soon he was free
Drunk with it he knew no bounds.
Lawless, happy and above all, free.
He always had friends,
Both loyal and not.
But one remained true,
For all his life.
Together they ruled their lives,
Until the time came when a new life emerged.
A growing darkness crept over them,
Until a light came from an unexpected girl.
A princess with no land,
Together they conquered the dark
And replaced it with light.
Together he and the princess married
Though never became a royal family,
Their children never wore a crown.
Despite all he had done
Never could he go back
Nor would he forget who he was,
The Forgotten Prince.
