A/N: I made this just for the sake. (if anyone was wondering)
The Aries had been on its explorational voyage for about six hours and nothing had happened so far. Yami was falling asleep at the bridge thinking, 'Why did I sign up for this? Oh yeah, the job description said something about exciting adventures.' He let out a sigh. The ship wouldn't switch captains for another two hours.
"Yami? Yaaaaammmmmiiiii." Joey walked over to the Egyptian. "Hey, Yami!" he yelled. "Are you awake?"
"Yes, Joey." he replied with a yawn. "I'm awake. Now what did you want to tell me?"
"There's a ship approaching us at warp five."
"Does it look friendly?"
"Well . . ." Joey stared at the monitor for a few seconds. "It's dark gray with the Orichalcos symbol on it, has twice as much firepower as us, and . . . uh . ."
"And what?" Yami asked suspiciously.
" . . . We're being hailed." the blonde explained looking slightly pale.
"Open the channel."
A man with green hair appeared on the screen. He opened his eyes slowly. "This is Captain Dartz of the starship Emerald speaking. I would like to inform you of–" he stopped. "Why do I hear laughter coming from your end of the channel?"
Yami blinked. "That's a good question." He looked behind himself and saw his friend laughing hysterically like he had finally lost it.
"Your badge, it looks–" Joey started cracking up again. Both captains stared at him "It looks like a—like a— CANTALOUPE!" He burst out laughing and fell on the floor.
'Two more hours . . . two more hours . . .' Yami thought to himself.
Dartz narrowed his eyes. "You do realize that this," He pointed to the silvery badge one his chest. "Features part of the city of Atlantis and a three-quarter moon, making it artistically superior to badges with the Sennen Eye on them."
Joey glanced at Yami's badge to see if it had the eye Dartz was talking about. Yep, it did. The Sennen Eye was engraved into the metal (same color as the other one) surface of the hexagon-shaped part of the badge which was on top of a star with seven arms that each had a picture of a Millennium Item on them.
"Yeah, right, like some tin cantaloupe really looks better than a Pyramid Fleet badge." Joey said sarcastically.
"It is not made of tin and does not look like a cantaloupe."
"Suuuuurrrre."
"Anyway," Dartz continued, hoping that everyone got the hint. "Your ship is currently blocking our direct course with the unnamed planet in quadrant k-2453656426. If you do not move right now, we will open fire."
