Casey was walking down the hallway with Luna. They were discussing what the house elves would make for dinner that day; Luna hopped there was pudding. Casey hopped that there were truffles. They were walking from the Ravenclaw common room when Casey noticed George Weasely standing at the end of the hallway. Casey started twirling his robs nervously. "Oh god, oh god, Luna what do I do?"
Casey turned to his best friend for best friend for help. She was the only one who knew of his crush on George. Luna smiled and replied in a day dreamy voice, "Just act like you. You're a pretty cool person. I like you." They kept walking without saying anything. Luna seemed oblivious to Casey's anxiety but then again, it was Luna. And she might just be acting normal to make him feel better.
As they reached the spot that George was at, George stepped out in front of them. He then started to stammer and said, "Uh, hi - hi Casey"
Casey smiled nervously and only replied when Luna hit him in the back - hard. "Hi, George, how are you?"
"I'm good, I was - um - wondering if you wantedtogooutwithmesometime?" He said the last part so quickly, Casey thought he was imagining what he had heard.
"I'm sorry?"
George took a deep breath and said, much more calmly and slowly, "I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me sometime."
Luna jumped up and down, squealing. Casey grinned broadly. "I would love too."
They then all walked together to dinner and Luna would occasionally start skipping out of joy for her friend.
