So, sorry it's taking so bloody long to update Black Lover. I was almost finished with chapter 6 – then I got sucked into writing a chapter for the sequel, name pending. So here's a sneak preview of the long awaited (not!) sequel to Black Lover:
They thought it was over. The Black Lover, caught and behind bars, couldn't hurt anyone else. But they were wrong. A body found in the woods on the New Jersey-New York border changed their minds. Well over 6 months old, it bore the same marks as Bara Minamino and Kevin Craven, victims from the Black Lover case.
But soon it becomes clear that the Black Lover couldn't have killed this one. As more and more bodies are discovered in those woods, Special Agent Pendergast and Nell Nemissen soon must face a terrifying discovery: They are no longer dealing with the Black Lover. They are dealing with the one who taught him all they knew.
Even as their relationship blossoms, their deaths are being plotted. By someone who wants revenge on them for locking away their protégé. And they will not be denied retribution.
