"How could you!" Hermione screamed viscously. She threw her book at Ron's head and ran from the dormitory in a fit of sobs. "How dare she!" Ron shouted, flopping huffily into one of the chairs nearest him. Harry shook his head in disgust. Couldn't the two go through one day without fighting? And over the stupidest thing too. A homework assignment. Hermione offered to help Ron with his History of Magic Essay but when she suggested that he make it a page or two longer, Ron had a fit. Harry ignored them this time. Usually he would have talked through it with them but he was tired of it. From now on it was their business, not his. "Did you see her!" Ron asked Harry. "Telling me to make my paper longer. Ha!" Harry shook his head and went up to his room.
************* **************

Out in the hall Hermione was walking around aimlessly. She was lost and knew it but was too furious to care. All she did was suggest to Ron that he make his paper a little longer. What was so bad about that? It was just like the lunchroom incident last week. Hermione shivered at the thought of it. Finally coming out of her temporary trance, she looked around. Somehow she had made her way up near the Astronomy Tower. 'Maybe a little fresh air will be good for me,' Hermione thought. She was about to go into the tower when she heard voices inside. Leaving the door open a crack and listened intently. "Blaise! Don't you bloody get it! If Voldemort doesn't attack by then, Dumbledore could have set up a whole army!" a voice said. "You don't think I know that Draco?!" Blaise said, sounding frustrated. "All I am saying is Dumbledore is going to have high security over Hogwarts that night." "I know that but." Draco was going on. Hermione had heard enough. She was going straight to Dumbledore. Voldemort was planning an attack on the school, and it sounded like soon. Hermione turned quickly and tried to sneak away. Unfortunately, he foot hit the astronomy door, slamming it shut. Hermione rushed away, hearing Draco and Blaise close behind her. She was about to round the corridor when a hand grabbed the back of her robe and threw her against the wall. She gasped for breath, the wind knocked out of her. Second later Draco's face was in front of hers. He held her wrists tightly in front of him. "What did you hear Granger?" Draco asked shaking her roughly. "Nothing, I was just walking past," Hermione said. "You little ...,' Blaise began to say. Draco held up a hand to stop him. Hermione continued to struggle fiercely but with no avenge. "I think she deserves a punishment, don't you Blaise?" Draco asked. There was such evil in his eyes Hermione turned her head in fear.
