Recollection
Author's Notes: One-shot, Auron ficcie.. Auron thinks about his past when he was still with the kids and other things.. Well umm.. there's not much speech here, ya know? This is also kinda' short.. I did this thing while doing school work too.. and I only posted this now..
~*~*~*~
* flashback *
He used the pretext that he didn't want his hair to get all messed up instead of the true reason that he didn't know how to swim. But then, his other companions, including the amicable summoner, pulled him in. The young guardian struggled to keep his head up to prevent running out of oxygen. It was about a few minutes later when he realized that he was in knee-length deep water.
* end flashback *
Auron chuckled softly. This memory always came to him everytime he sees a pool of water for over ten intervening years.
He never did forget the pilgrimage he had with Braska and Jecht. He always had a recollection of these past memories everytime Tidus does something to remind him of his past.
Speaking of Tidus, Auron was always impressed at how Tidus' fighting competence improved everyday. Well, not to mention his own capabilities, Tidus was indeed a fast learner.
And also, Tidus always asked Auron about his past. Though Auron was in his advanced years, he didn't go through that certain anecdotage. He didn't like talking about his past.
He also thought of the other young member of the group. Yuna, the benign young summoner who is the daughter of High Summoner Braska and the one who defeated Sin. He was proud of her to have defeated Sin in an age so young. Not to mention his other companions.. He was the oldest in their group and by far the wisest.
And how he craved for all the care his younger companions gave him that he didn't get now. For he was at the Farplane, where the dead people lived.
He was oblivious of everything around him, for he was just staring at the sea.
He woke up from his silent reverie when he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, it's time to go back now. Braska's worried sick man." Jecht said casually. Auron nodded and followed him towards the house, with a long gone smile on his face.
