The Movie Lines

A/N: MY FIRST EVER PROMPT! Thanks Shelia for asking for this, sorry it's two weeks late :/ send me more prompts if you would like to :D (btw, I couldn't find the right movie for this, so I made one up.. sorry)
Phil looked at the screen of the TV he and Dan owned, one of his favorite movies playing. He had wanted to watch a movie with his flat mate, and maybe pull the 'yawn and stretch the arm over the couch' trick, trying to make some sort of move, even though he was much too timid to tell Dan his feelings, but his best friend had spent the entire day editting, and had wanted to go to bed early. So here sat Phil, on the couch alone, waiting for the perfect scene, the one he knew all the lines too, cause that's how much of a loser he is.
The movie was called 'Put Together'. It was a romantic one about two characters (Dixie and Ricky) who have been best friends since childhood, and have secret feelings for eachother. It's set in the 1800's, where Dixie's father is suppose to decide who she marries. He sets her up with the most posh man you have ever seen, Christopher, who is abusive and doesn't love her, but is extremely rich. Dixie is too afraid to tell everyone she loves Ricky, and Ricky is afraid too interfere with the marriage, and ruin his best friend's wedding.
Phil's favorite scene is towards the end, when the two of them are in the rain, and Ricky tells her how he loves her. It's so cute, so Phil had to memorise the lines, ready to recite them.
"Ricky! Oh Ricky!" The TV actress sings out, her voice lined with a Northern accent.
"Dixie?" Phil calls out, pretending to be in the movie. He never really liked acting, until it came to this.
The two of them embrace, and Phil squeezes his lion.
Whilest this went on, Phil did not realize his flat mate, who had been woken by Phil's 'acting', sneak into the lounge, his phone recording everything. He was stiffling back laughter, proud that he could have something to blackmail the older one with.
Dan didn't know why Phil liked this movie so much. Yeah it was cute, but it had bad acting, a predictable plot line, an cringe-worthy sentences. As much as this movie sucked, Dan had to admit, he had dreamed of the two of them being Dixie and Ricky. He knew Phil was gay, and Phil knew Dan was bi, but neither of them had ever spoken of any romantic feelings between them, as much as Dan wished they could.
Phil continued carring out the scene, Dan letting out a few quiet snorts, barely containing his giggles. Good thing Phil was practically deaf and wouldn't hear.
It finally came to this kissing part, and Phil was on his feet, Lion in hand.
"Ricky, I don't love Christopher, and I never will!" Dixie cries out. "I don't know what to do!"
Phil looks into Lion's eyes, waiting for his cue. "Dan, I love you." He says, leaning in, and planting a sweet kiss on his stuffed toy, feeling stupid, but still loving it.
Dan suddenly dropped his phone, not sure what he just heard, causing Phil to swing around in suprise. The two of them stare at eachother for quite some time, before Dan decides to speak. "You- you what?"
He saw the tears well up in Phil's eyes. "I'm sorry, Dan." He sqeakes out. "I don't know what I was doing I just-"
"No, it's- it's ok." He gives a small smile, taking Phil's hand in one of his, using the other to pick up the remote. He rewinded back to the begining of the scene, putting on his high pitched 'lady' voice. "Philip! Oh Philip!" He says, in sync with the TV.
Phil smiles, pulling Dan into a hug. "Daniel?"
"Philip!" He gasps again, when the hug is over. "I don't love Christopher, and I never will! I don't know what to do!"
There is an intimate moment, there eyes locked together, before Phil whispers, "Dan, I love you."
They lean in and kiss, fingers enlaced.
