Sonic was crying. Never has he felt this bad.
He was at the hospital. In a room. With a pink hedgehog.
He told her to go away. He snapped. She ran.
Then that's when he heard the bones crack. Amy was on the floor, sprawled out and bleeding. Amy was just hit by a bus.
Amy lay there unconscious in the hospital bed. Sonic by her side. She was wrapped up in bandages.
Sonic had never felt so bad. He knew that if he just spent the day with her, this would never happen.
Amy was still alive. He wanted her to survive. All he had to say was 5 words.
"I love you Amy Rose."
Suddenly, a pair of green eyes shot open.
"S-sonic?"
"Amy??"
"D-did you really mean it?"
"Yes Amy. I love you."
Sonic leaned in to kiss her. When their lips touched it was the most amazing feeling.
Amy started to kiss him back, then stopped.
Sonic heard a long beep.
Amy Rose was dead.
"N-no....t-this can't be happening...."
"Amy Rose, Please don't leave me."
Sonic started to cry once again.
The one who he truly loved was dead.
Sonic kissed her forehead and walked out of the hospital with tears in his eyes.
His first and only love was gone forever.
