Blaine sang softly to himself and adjusted his position in the grass. He watched as the large red flowers began to grow around him and smiled as the crimson beauties tickled his palms on their journey up his arms. His voice grew stronger and more confident so that soon enough they engulfed him into their glossy silk jaws. The chirp of the birds eventually quieted as the swish of the leaves around him silenced all other commotion.

"Here comes the rain again falling from the stars

Drenched in my pain again becoming who we are…"

He continued blissfully until it became hard to breath and he could barely choke out the words. He stood up quickly, checking his surroundings and silently thanking whatever god there was that someone had not caught him. The forest carried on as if nothing had ever happened as Blaine walked away, out of the wooded area and back to a small abandoned building with a splitting headache. He stepped through the creaking door and was instantly greeted by a tall, well at least taller, blonde-haired boy literally racing at the speed of light towards him.

"Blaaaiiinnneee," the boy wined grabbing Blaine's arm, "You promised to take me out to the woods today because nick is sick and you promised you would show me how I can catch the squirrels!" he pouted pathetically. Blaine shrugged him off. "I wanted to go alone." He murmered quietly and nick tiredly pried his boyfriend off the raven-haired-boy.

"Jeff you two can go some other time, you know the puppy dog eyes only work on me." He joked lamely his heavy eyelids already beginning to droop.

Blaine smiled half-heartedly at their banter and nodded in thanks at nick as Jeff ordered the ill boy to lie down. Blaine went into his room and lied down himself, his head continuing to pound from over working it today. They all had a limit to the extent of which they could you their…gifts. You see, the warblers were not just a fancy-smancy choir group like the one they were portrayed to be at the large posh school, Dalton academy. They were…special, in a way that was not what others would exactly call normal.

Blaine sighed letting his finger brush over the path the vines had traveled and shivered as small bumps rose up on the tan flesh. Blaine never told them his gift…it was a girl power, to control flowers with his voice. It was a girl power he never planned to share…With anyone.
