2. This is an Adventure, Sci-fi, Drama, Romance kind of story, no main genre rises above the others except Adventure in my opinion.

THE GOLDEN DOOR
Prologue
The following is a message deciphered and translated by Clark years after the events of this story occurred. It was written in Kryptonian, and found in his fortress of solitude.
Too bad, it was a little too late.

To Our Dear Kal-El:
By now, you will know much of the history of our people, our family, the very existence of the Kryptonian Race. But there is so much more. More than Krypton, more than the earth life that you know. As you have learned, your birth father, Jor-El was a scientist. He has transported his findings from Krypton to the temporary learning base for you, among caves underground in the place, you call Smallville.
He has discovered what we call a doorway. It is a passageway to other worlds. Our first word to you about this door is WARNING. DANGER would be a close second. It is in no way something to be trifled with. If for some reason you must pass through the door, remember to keep calm. Undoubtedly, your wits and your intelligence will help you in any situation, you are after all descended from a line of the most intelligent men and women on Krypton. However, here is why the warning is so very important: you may never go home, once you pass its mysterious opening, and be trapped in another world for all eternity. Beware, beware the golden door our son. Our love is forever with you, Kal-El.
