Beasts of Destruction
The whole guild look on as Acnologia, the dragon of destruction, flew to the sky. The fierce black dragon didn't even wish to speak to his prey, looking down as if to pick which one to destroy first. Amongst the panic, the fairies stood in shock as their father and master ordered them to leave and get out of the island. A pink haired mage, Natsu, shouted that he wasn't going to leave, yet a hand grabs him telling him that this will be their master's final order. The grandson, Laxus Dreyar, has tears in his eyes as he shouts to the fairies to leave. Everybody is shock but they listen to him. The tears start flowing and the mages of Fairy Tail run.
While the father, Makarov, uses his titan magic to match the size of the beast, he can't help but let a smile cross his face. His thoughts are happy and proud as if acting as a father for the first time. But even he knew that the dragon will be impossible to defeat, resigns to his fate. He buys his children time to escape, tackling the beast and holding him down. The dragon however doesn't plan on just staying quiet. Pushing the old man down and leaving him ready to receive a direct attack. When suddenly a shout is heard and a pillar of flames is seen hitting the face of Acnologia. Yet all Makarov could think was why didn't this brat leave! The next words that followed could not have prepared him for his next shock. "Hey, stupid dragon, leave our father alone!" followed by another blast of fire. Following the fire blast was a pillar of iron and a vortex of wind. Lightning bolts and a wave of pure magic energy hit the dragon at the same time.
Even though the fairies seemed to have gained the upper hand, the strongest of them all had seen past the façade of the dragon. Having already fought the beast before noticed something that made his blood freeze. The dragon was toying with them. Yet after taking so many attacks head on, the dragon starts to become bored and decides that it has had enough and it is time for the carnage to begin. Taking flight, the black dragon goes up high enough to let the fairies think on what the next move will be. The dragon begins to prepare his attack. The fairies try to think of any strong defensive magic that would be able to stop it.
A mysterious woman looks on at the fairies. Their situation seems hopeless yet they continue to fight. She was proud that the will of the fairies is strong and that the sense of unity could not be erased even by a dire threat. So she continues to look on, as the fairies form a circle ready to give their all to block the dragons roar, and whispers, "survive". Putting her hands together as if praying, she focused her magic into summoning a beast she had tamed. A beast that also embodied natural destruction, a fox appeared with a single tail. As more magic was use the number of tails increase and the fox grew in size.
The fairies, holding their hands together to power a defensive spell, saw a yellow fox with black character arrays on its body and nine long flowing tails. The fox lets out a shattering roar. The dragon finds a new challenge to destroy. The fox finds a threat to his supremacy.
Author notes. This is a challenge fic. I don't care who writes the next chapter or the fight between the Nine tail Fox demon and Acnologia. If anything I want to see someone do something that keeps the integrity of Tenrou Island being destroyed by the mayhem. The story itself has to be short and beside all someone has to do is just add a fight scene between the two.
