Wow...

Look who decided to write something TV related instead of school papers! 0_o

Never mind scratch that, look who has actually written something and published it!

I think it's been about a year and a half since I've posted some new material on here. So yeah I'm rusty... But I got a hit of some inspiration!

It came from a post on Tumblr, where this actually happened to someone, and I thought it would make a pretty decent 300 word drabble (yes that's a thing now).

I'll put a link on my page to the post for anyone to see if they're interested!

He couldn't believe it. It was still just so surreal – it was just a normal day. He didn't expect to meet her; he was a lucky man. She was real, full of life; you could just tell it was spilling over in her smile… And that smile! He knew he could just be lost in her, her… he glanced down and the near empty coffee cup in his hand as he walked down the busy New York street…. Kate. Kate was her name! Followed by ten beautiful digits written after that. He knew he wouldn't forget her, not that he ever wanted to. It didn't take him too long before he was back to day dreaming about her, and before he knew it he had walked home a terribly happy man.

Taking off his coat and draping it over the back of his couch, he pulled his phone out from his pocket to save her – Kate – into his contacts… only to realize he didn't have the cup in hand. Or in the kitchen, or by the couch or anywhere and – oh no. No. He remembers now. He was going over for the fifth time exactly how her curled light brown hair drifted off her shoulders, when he absentmindedly tipped his cold and empty paper coffee cup into a trash as he walked by. No. How could he do it? How could he be so regrettably foolish to let something like this – her – get away? All the amazing opportunities and moments he could've spent with her… no!

He refused to let himself think that way. He felt there was more there, and he couldn't let it slip away. He promised himself he would go back to that coffee shop and see her again one day. Even if it took 1000 coffees.

Sooo, tell me: If you had to get a tattoo, what and where would it be?

And thanks for reading my lovelies!
