"Nick! How many times do I have to tell you! Fold the toilet paper over not under!" Schmidt yells as he enters the living room.
Nick sits on the sofa nursing a beer "Sorry man" he says sarcastically as he stares blankly at the television screen

"Jar" Nick points with no second thought
"Fine!" Schmidt sticks a few ones into the jar "I have to go, my suits are done being dry cleaned"

As Schmidt exists Jess enters in a light blue polka dot dress, white flats and her hair up in a bun "My gosh it is hot out" She exclaims
Nick suddenly shuts off the TV and adjusts his posture, him and Jess have only been together for a month and he doesn't want to totally let go…. Even if she has seen worse "Hey Jess" he says standing up and walking towards her "How was the mall?" he asks
"Good, I got a pair of green flats and a green dress. I think green is my new favorite color" She smiles and gives him a kiss
"You said that 2 days ago about pink" Nick laughs taking her hands in his
"What can I say, I like the rainbow"
The couple stands for a moment looking into each other's eyes
"You want to watch some tv?" Jess asks
"No….. I am fine right here" Nick leans down giving her a kiss "You taste like Jamba Juice" he laughs
"Orange dream machine" Jess smiles and leads Nick to the couch.
The last month had been perfect, it was confusing at times and lovely at others. But Nick and Jess both knew the next step was approaching, they both meant it but every time they tried to utter those three words they stopped.
Jess laid in Nick's arms, his tight embrace making her feel safe
