A/N: A Christmas present for a friend, who requested Danny/Lindsay, and Adam/Angell.

"You're worried, aren't you?" Lindsay asked.

Danny shrugged, taking another sip of his wine. "I'm fine."

"You are not. You've glanced at your watch at least fifteen times since we got here. Am I not interesting enough?"

His eyes widened and he shook his head, reaching out to take her hand. "That's not it at all, Montana, and you know that. I been dyin' to go out with you for months. It's just…"

She gave him a gentle smile and squeezed his hand. "You miss her."

"Yeah."

"And you worry."

Danny sighed, but nodded. "Yeah."

"Adam and Angell can handle this. They've both taken care of Emma before."

"I know."

She watched him for a minute before speaking again. "Do you want to go home? We can order pizza or something –"

Danny shook his head. "No. We're here, and I'm gonna treat ya to a nice dinner out. You deserve it, and I've missed spendin' time alone with ya."

She smiled. "Okay."

"But Montana?"

"Yeah?"

"Can we get our dessert to go?"

"It's awfully quiet in here," Lindsay commented as they walked into their apartment.

"Too quiet," Danny muttered, shutting the door behind them.

Slowly, they crept down the hallway, checking each room as they passed. When they finally came to their bedroom, Lindsay stopped, a smile blooming on her face. Danny pushed his head over her shoulder, trying to see what she was looking at.

Adam and Jess were on the bed, facing each other. Emma lay between them, their bodies shielding her from rolling off. All three of them were fast asleep, but that wasn't all that had Lindsay smiling. The C.S.I. and detective both had their hands on Emma's stomach – and their fingers were entwined.

"How sweet is that?" she whispered.

"Sweet? They're asleep on our bed, Montana."

"With our daughter. And it's the cutest thing I've ever seen."

"We are gonna wake 'em up, though, right? I'm tired, I wanna go to bed."

Lindsay rolled her eyes. "You want to have sex."

"Well, yeah. And we can't do that with them on our bed."

She smacked him lightly on the arm. "Go get the camera."

Danny frowned. "What? Why?"

"First of all, it's the cutest thing ever, remember? Second, if they're still stupid about how they feel about each other, I can use the picture as proof."

"You're a mean little matchmaker, Montana."

She sighed, staring at the couple. "They make each other happy, Danny."

"They do make a good couple," he said grudgingly. "I'll go get the camera."

As he made his way back down the hall, Lindsay leaned against the doorway, still watching them. They had hectic lives, and even more hectic jobs, and it was nice to see her friends so peaceful. And that's all she really wanted them to have – that someone who would be the one solid thing in their lives when everything else went crazy. She had finally found that in Danny, and she couldn't let these two ignore it when it was right in front of them.

When he came back with the camera, Lindsay took it from him without a word and turned off the flash before snapping a couple pictures. She would wait and see how they reacted when they woke up, and then give them the pictures either as a nudge in the right direction, or a present further down the road.

"We gonna wake 'em up now?" Danny asked.

She slipped her hand into his and rested her head on his shoulder. "Give 'em a few more minutes, Dan," she whispered.
