I haven't written in a really long time, but I'm home alone and tv is getting boring. I don't even know what fandom I'm writing this for either, so...lets go with...
"Nope, no way, no way in hell are you going to get me to do that."
"But it's just a kiss!"
"I said no, Patton," as Fanny waved her hands in the air for emphasis, taking a slight step forward from where they were walking next to each other, "maybe if it was you I'd do it, but not just some random guy on the street!"
"Well why would you do it if it was me?" Patton replied. She froze a little, only now just fully realizing what she said, but she caught herself quickly.
"Because we know each other so well, of course! If I kissed him, he might actually think I like him, and now that would be a mess."
"Well then do it, to prove your bravery that you always seem to speak of though you have none," he taunted her, a half smile on his face, "kiss me."
Fanny was half tempted to retort back with how that wasn't really bravery, but a better, more impulsive side of her mind decided to give into the situation and play it cocky.
"Fine." And she leaned in fast and kissed him slow on the lips, pulling away a few moments later with a half smirk, half smile on her face. Then she grabbed his hand before she could fully think through the implications of what she'd just done, and said, "Come on, let's get to the ice cream shop before the school makes a mad dash for it. We have to make the most of having last free." And she pulled him, breaking into a run and laughing from the joy of the moment with her best friend. He laughed with her, giving into her playfullness, and slightly wondering what the kiss meant for their relationship now, but knowing that they'd discuss it later. He was just glad she didn't give into his dare at first, imagine if she'd kissed anyone else? He'd be crushed. He quite liked the outcome of his dare though, he thought, as he clasped her hand tightly and pulled them faster.
So it turned into a Fanny/Patton romantic/flirty oneshot. It's not as if I was imagining the guy I liked and myself in this scene...x) I always find myself to be such a flirt, it's probably one of my biggest flaws, so I tend to give all my characters that trait too, sorry. Are any of you readers naturally flirty? I tend to get myself into situations where I have guys texting me when I don't necessarily want to talk to them. Like right now...Oh well. It's not my best by a long shot but for anyone wanting fluff, here it is. I hope you're having a good weekend!
I also don't own Codename: Kids Next Door. Yup, don't want to forget that.
