Objects - Marshmallow dresses and rainbow drinks

Jace cautiously surveyed the mess in the kitchen. "...Magnus?"

A giggle, then, "Jace, darling! Look at what I made." The warlock held up a glass of…. Jello? It looked like layered jello in a cup, but when Magnus swished the glasss around, he realized that it was indeed a liquid… Drink.

"Uh. What is that?" The blonde squinted at the glass, stepping into the messy room, closer to Magnus.

"I don't actually know." his lover mused. "I just mixed things together." Cat eyes glinted as he shrugged. "But it tastes great. Try it."

Jace was torn. He was kind of scared - In his defense, Magnus' cooking was… Anytime he entered the kitchen, it was kind of scary. Like, food-poisoning kind of scary. Like worse than Izzy's cooking scary.

That kind of scary.

But at the same time, Magnus looked so proud of his rainbow concoction.

"What does it taste like?" He asked, warily eyeing the glass the warlock held up.

Another shrug. "Like rainbows and glitter and happiness."

"... What the heck does rainbow and glitter and happiness taste like?"
Magnus considered, taking a delicate sip. "Like… Rainbows and glitter and happiness."

Jace opened his mouth to say something, but thought better of it. "Are you drunk?" He asked instead.

Giving his lover an indignant huff, Magnus shook his head. "Of course not!"

Still giving Magnus the same look, Jace just shook his head and took the drink from his lover. "Nevermind."

Giving the shadowhunter a glare, Magnus prodded some more. "Try it?" He batted his eyes at the blonde. "Plllleeeaaassseeee?"

Sighing, Jace shut his eyes and quickly sent a prayer up to whoever may be listening, then quickly drowned his drink.

"...Well?"

Wrinkling his nose, Jace considered. "It actually… Isn't that bad."

Punching a glittery fist in the air, Magnus crowed. "I told you! I said it!"

Rolling his eyes, Jace nodded. "Yeah, yeah. You get a prize or whatever."

Cat eyes shot open. "Really?"

"Um." Jace shut his mouth, wishing he'd never said anything. "Sure?"

Crackling, Magnus danced a little jig. "Marshmallow dresses."

Jace's heart dropped so fast, it was kind of amazing. "What?"

"It's my prize. I want to make you wear a marshmallow dress."

"You know, Magnus, I don't really think marshmallows are meant to be used this way." Jace tugged at his… Sticky, pink… Skirt. Thing. Dress.

"It's adorable," Magnus gushed.

"It has bows!" Jace protested, tearing a small piece off. "Can I eat this?"

"Not yet, darling. I want to have a mini-photoshoot." Magnus waved around a camera. "Alec would love these pictures, I'm sure."

Jace groaned and thumped his head against the wall. "Are you kidding me?" The words were muffled and pained.

"You look like you belong in a candy magazine. Of some kind. Or something."

"Magnus, this is uncomfortable -"

However, the warlock just went on, adding glitter and bows and other bright and shiny things as he seemed fit, ignoring all complaints. "It's fine, Jace. It's just marshmallow."

"It's melting on me."

"So I'll lick it off you when we're done, big deal."

That shut him up.
