Thanks to Lilgenious, I have created a second part to The Prank. I hope this is just as good as the last.

Arthur couldn't believe it. He had woken up to his room full of horse dung, and he strongly sensed that Merlin was responsible. Why else would he have left the room in such a hurry? Ugh, he needed to bathe. He smelled like…well, horse dung. What else would he smell like.

There was a knock on the door. Arthur, who didn't want to be caught lying in a bed covered in the stuff from stables, began to panic.

"Uh, just a moment!" he called.

"Arthur?"

Oh, crap, he thought. Gwen!

"Arthur, are you alright? I heard something strange…something about your room and horse dung." Was he imagining it, or was she laughing?

Arthur ran up to the door and opened it just a crack. "Oh, hello, Gwen. Do you, uh, know where Merlin is by any chance?"

"Yes," Gwen said slowly. "I believe he's mucking out the stables. Would you like me to get him for you?"

"What? NO!" Arthur shouted. He reddened. "Oh, um, I mean. No. Let him finish with the stables. Thank you good bye!"

Outside the room, Gwen and Merlin were having a hearty laugh.

"That was cruel, Gwen!" Merlin chortled. "I didn't know you could do that."

Gwen grinned. "All in good fun, Merlin. But you should go help him clean up. He was a mess. I don't think he noticed, but he had a bit of it on his cheek!"

Arthur, meanwhile, was plotting his revenge. After some more thought, he was positive that Merlin was the one who had wrecked his chambers, and he was determined to get back at him. But what could he do that was worse than filling his room with stable muck? An idea dawned on him, and he began to plan.

Merlin was exhausted. He had just finished cleaning Arthur's chambers, and he smelled filthy. But it had totally been worth it. He was just about to head for his room when he heard his name being called. He turned to see Gwen running towards him.

"Merlin, he knows it was you!" she whispered. "He's trying to get back at you, and he wants my help. I said I would, but I wanted to tell you. That way, Arthur will think he got back at you, but he really didn't."

"Wow, Gwen," Merlin grinned. "You're just full of evil today, aren't you?"

Gwen shrugged. "It gets boring sometimes, being so nice. Alright, so this is the plan…"

Outside Merlin and Gaius' chambers, Arthur glanced at Gwen, who looked more excited to be pulling a prank on her best friend than he had thought she would be. Oh, well. That made things easier.

"Do you have the bag?" he whispered.

"Of course," Gwen said, a mischievous twinkle in her eye. "Now, c'mon, let's go. And don't worry about waking up Gaius. He'd sleep through anything."

They sneaked into the room and tiptoed to Merlin's room. The door was slightly ajar, which Arthur was happy about. That meant that there would be less noise. Right?

The moment Arthur pulled on the handle, his head hurt, his ears were ringing, and he felt a cold feeling spreading down his spine. Wait a second! He was soaked, and there was a bucket on his head!

"What is going on?" Arthur shouted. "Gwen?"

He heard a chorus of laughter, and he tugged the bucket from his head. Merlin and Gwen were laughing hysterically.

"What?" he roared. "You two were working together this whole time? I can't believe you!"

"What is going on here?"

Arthur turned around to see and angry Gaius sitting up in his bed.

"Oh," he said. "Good evening, Gaius. Uh, I was just coming to say good night. Good night!"

And he ran from the room, leaving Merlin and Gwen to suffer under Gaius' rage. Oh, well. His prank hadn't worked out, but at least Merlin was in trouble!
