Author's Note: This is something I wrote a longggg time ago and never put up. The song is by me. (Could've seen that coming.) I guess I'll see you down at the end!

Disclaimer: I do not, have not ever, and will not ever own High School Musical. I'm being realistic here, people.

I can't forget the years

But I have to let them fade

They're far away now

And they haunt my very being

But from age to age

Lifetimes come and go

Like night and day

Sometimes they're full of sun and joy

And they end in a storm

But love endures from age to age

Throughout the entire room not an eye was dry when the father of the bride, Troy Bolton, finished his song. The once muscular, handsome boy was now a graying old man whose mind had evanesced along with his hair.

Camryn made her way through the sea of guests toward her father, her new husband following just behind the train of her veil. She could see her father's expression, the same one as always. His face displayed a stony jaw, dark eyes, and a mouth pursed into a frown.

"Daddy, you were wonderful!" she gushed, giving the man standing before her a tight embrace. Her long brown hair fell across her face, disguising her teary eyes.

Troy hugged her, but it was apparent he didn't know the reasons for his action. His eyes seemed to say, "Who is this girl? Is it you, Gabriella, come back to haunt my every being? Oh no, it's Camryn."

Camryn let go of her father, and as soon as she did, his knees began to quiver. Soon his whole body was shaking violently while everyone just stood frozen, paralyzed by their fright. They knew what was coming, the shrieks and the tears they had seen so many times before.

"Gabriella, I've been calling for you! Why didn't you answer," Troy called.

"I didn't hear you," replied a teenage girl who was running up to him. But before she reached him, lightning struck her down. She was gone.

The flashbacks came with more shrieks and shaking. Camryn tri

"There they are!" shouted Troy joyfully. He was standing just outside of his new house with his parents and friends waiting for Gabriella and her mother to come home with their new children, Camryn and Theresa.

Mrs. Montez waved happily from inside the car down the street.

The mood was different, however, on the front porch of the house. They watched in horror as a speeding car turned onto the street. It was heading straight for Mrs. Montez's car. In a matter of seconds, it collided with the car, killing all but one passenger, baby Camryn.

"Get an ambulance!" Camryn shouted calmly; she turned toward her father. "Dad, listen to me. We're going to take you to the hospital. You need to calm down. It's all okay. Are you listening to me?"

"Yes."

She sighed, "Good. Let's get you out of here. I'll help you up."

"No. Not this time, Camryn. This is the last one of these I'm going to take. It's over now. I'm through with this nightmare."

"No! Dad, stop. You can't stop believing! Willpower is everything. We've got to get you to the hospital."

"No, Camryn. Love is everything, and, now that you've moved on, I have no one left."
