Knocking on Heaven's Door

It's getting dark too dark to see
Feels like I'm knockin' on heaven's door

Fred always thought he and George would go out together, whether it be with a bang, in battle, or of old age. He did not plan on dying from a blow to the head.

But the past's in the past and he could only move on.

Or, so he should.

"Hey!" Fred shouted. "Let me in!" He banged on the oak door.

"No," several people hissed, leaning against it fearfully. "You can't come in!"

"My name was on the list!" he cried, looking at the door exasperatedly.

"I don't see how," a man with shoulder-length black hair grumbled.

"Don't be so grumpy, Sev." a red head on his right said, scowling at the mob.

"You're one to talk Lilly," Siruis laughed. Behind him, Remus smiled slightly.

"We should help him." he said lightly, moving to the door.

"Alright!" Tonks cheered.

Together, the Maruders, Lilly, and Tonks pushed their way to the door.

"Please!" one man cried. "Don't let him in! It'll never be peaceful again!"

"Oh be quiet you," Lilly sighed, turning the doornob.

"Raaaaaaah!" Fred shouted, running into the room, a small boy under his arm. Everyone stared after them.

"Is he using that Colin Creevy kid as a battering ram?" James asked, tipping his head to the side.

"I think so," Sirius said, blinking after them.

Fred, still trying to break down the door, kept running. Well, until he bashed into the wall.

"Ow," he groaned, dropping a dizzy Colin.

The Mauraders, Lilly, and Tonks stood around him.

"Well, you're finally here." Sirius said. "Now let's go have some fun. They wanted to keep you out." He jabbed his thumb in the direction of the crowd.

"I'm up for some revenge," Fred said, a mishevious grin making it's way onto his face.

"Before you go," James said, digging in his pocket. "Here you go." He tossed Fred something small and flesh colored.

George's ear wiggled in his grasp, angel wings trying desperately to fly away.

"Thanks!" he grinned, pocketing it and going after Sirius. "Oh, and Professor?"

He turned to grin at his former Potions teacher.

"Nice wings," Serverus glared after him, white wings flapping irritably.
